FROM COMPETITIVE SNOWBOARDING TO FASHION, LUCAS BAUME AKA YUNG DOLI WAS
THE PERFECT INSPIRATION FOR UNDERSTANDING HOW SNOWBOARDING AND FASHION
CAN MEET. I WAS INITIALLY INSPIRED AFTER LISTENING TO HIS EPISODE ON THE BOMB
HOLE PODCAST, THE LEADING PLACE FOR SNOWBOARD INTERVIEWS. HERE, HE DESCRIBED HOW HE FOUND HIS OWN STYLE AND CREATIVITY THROUGH SNOWBOARDING AND HOW HE BROUGHT HIS UNDERSTANDING OF FASHION TO MAKE HIS OWN CLOTHING BRAND, WHICH HE DESIGNS ALL HIMSELF.

THE FASHION CONNECTION WAS PORTRAYED THROUGH THE USE OF EDITORIAL STYLE IMAGES SUCH AS THE CHANGING OF CLOTHES, AS SEEN ABOVE. THIS HELPS TO SHOWCASE THE REALITIES OF SNOWBOARD LIFE AND CULTURE WHILST RETAINING A FOCUS UPON STYLING AND FASHION PRINCIPLES.

THE USE OF STRETCHING TYPE POSING ALLOWS FOR FURTHER INTERPRETATION OF HOW I SEE FASHION AND HOW IT CAN BE CONNECTED TO THE HUMAN BODY AND THE CONCEPT OF SNOWBOARDING IN ITS MOST NATURAL FORM.

THE USE OF MAEUP AND LIGHTING ALSO HELPS TO SHOW THIS CONNECTION, GIVING THE VIEWER A CLEAR IMAGE OF THE ATMOSPHERE AND EXPERIENCE THAT INSIPIRES THE STYLING.
